Fresh off the runway: Fashion week highlights, from New York to Paris

The clothes at Jacquemus were a mix of deconstructed menswear. At Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton dipped into Britain's past for inspiration. This time: the persecuted Huguenots, who fled to London in the 17th century and became known for their talents as silk-weavers.Raf Simons covered the Christian Dior show tent -- on the grounds of the Louvre -- with 300,000 delphiniums. The collection was hardly garden-variety though. At Balmain, our October guest editor Olivier Rousteing sent supermodel after supermodel (Joan! Gigi! Kendall! Doutzen!) down the runway in the most Instagram-friendly show of the season.
