Lionel Messi has made the starting line-up for Barcelona's Champions League clash with Roma.
The Argentine came on as a second-half substitute in Saturday's 4-0 win over Real Madrid but has not started a game since he suffered a knee injury in the 2-1 victory against Las Palmas on September 26.
Luis Enrique makes two other changes from the side that embarrassed Rafa Benitez's men in the Clasico. Marc-Andre ter Stegen starts ahead of Claudio Bravo in goal, while Javier Mascherano suffered a thigh injury against Madrid and is replaced by Thomas Vermaelen.
BARCELONA: Ter Stegen; Alves, Pique, Vermaelen, Alba; Busquets, Roberto, Rakitic; Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar.
SUBS: Bravo, Iniesta, Bartra, Munir, Adriano, Mathieu, Samper.
ROMA: Szczesny; Maicon, Manolas, Rudiger, Digne; Pjanic, Keita, Nainggolan; Florenzi, Dzeko, Iago Falque.
