Dayo Amusa is a rare entertainer in Nigeria because she doubles as a Nollywood actress and also an upcoming singer. She shows a strong side of her as she refuses to be ‘what she is not’ to please people.
She was speaking to Pulse Nigeria video in an interview relative to how she carries herself around she reiterated that her decisions to do anything with her body or life solely lies on her and not what others think about her.
She dismissed harsh reviews she has been getting since the release of her songs and her own version of Adele’s hit track – Hello.
It’s my life and I can live it just the way I want, she asserted.
"I know I get negative comments from people on social media but the truth is that I cannot stop them from airing their opinions. They have every right to their opinion and I don’t care about what they think about me.
She is unfazed by issues to do with bleaching which she insists is a personal decision that lies with her and no other person.
'When people say that I bleach my skin, all I say to them is that it is my life. I cannot crucify people over their opinion. As far as I can wake up in the morning, do what I want to do and get the attention of people from it, I am very okay,' Amusa added.
