The Old Trafford money-men made Martial the world's most expensive teenager when they handed Monaco an initial £36m, potentially rising to £58m, for his services in the summer.
He enjoyed a dream debut scoring late on against Liverpool and banged in three goals in his next three appearances.



The goals had dried up for Martial until his effort against Wolfsburg on Tuesday night as United exited the Champions League but De Gea believes he has fully adapted to life at the club.
"I think he really surprised everyone," De Gea said.
He’s a great player, still very young and with a lot of time to learn and improve, but he’s settled into the team and to Premier League football quickly.
"He’s a top player. He’s a laid-back lad, very quiet, just a really good kid.
"We’re all made up with him and he brings a lot to 

De Gea might not have been playing with Martial had his transfer to Real Madrid not collapsed on transfer deadline day.
But he performed a U-turn less than two weeks later by signing a new United contract and returned to the starting XI after being frozen out by Louis van Gaal.
He added: "It was a special game, a derby against Liverpool, so to have won at home, in that fantastic atmosphere, it was unforgettable! It was amazing."
